Make A Wish Foundation has always been a favourite for Metro. We love the mission of helping children in need with their Wish. In 2007, Metro donated a new Harley Davidson Sportster to the Make A Wish Foundation. It took us awhile to get all the paperwork sorted, but it turned out great as during that time we were able to get athletes, musicians, and actors to sign the bike when they were in town.
The event was a success as we raised $10,000 and most importantly Make A Wish was able to grant a wish to a young girl with Cystic Fibrosis and send her and her family to visit Disneyland.

The Cure Cancer Foundation is a new grassroots movement generating funds for cancer research, diagnosis, treatment, and patient care.
The Cure Cancer Foundation are passionate about finding a cure and enhancing the lives of Albertans dealing with the disease.
They have a special meaning to the owners of Metro Billiards as they support Dr Michael Chu from the Cross Cancer Hospital who performed the lifesaving stem cell transplant for Michele Caldarella in 2021.
